About Global Flowers

Global Flowers was established in 1996 by 4 seedsmen: Soren Hvid, Jens Tofte, Henning Johnsen and Villy Christiansen.

The company is breeding and producing flowerseeds in Denmark in 2 nurseries of total 12.500 m² and since 2007 we also produce plug plants in a 2500 m² nursery.

In Denmark we supply growers direct with flower
seeds from own breeding, and we are also acting as
distributor for all major breeding companies
from around the world.

Our flowerseeds are exported to more than 60 countries worldwide available only through local seed companies.

In 2007 totally 37 persons have been employed in the company.

On 29th February 2008 Global Flowers was acquired
by Takii, Japan.
